Internship Overview:
The Weezie Retail Intern will spend the summer as an integral part of the Atlanta Flagship Team, learning the ins and outs of retail operations while supporting in-store marketing efforts, social media content creation, and interior designer engagement. You’ll get hands-on experience with in-store embroidery, contribute to marketing campaigns and activations, and work directly with customers and trade partners to bring the Weezie brand to life.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in managing and creating content for @weezieatlanta’s social media presence, including reels, stories, and behind-the-scenes content
- Collaborate on strategies to grow our local social following and drive foot traffic to the store
- Support marketing initiatives to drive traffic and engagement at our flagship store—including email, SMS, and in-store promotions
- Help plan and execute in-store events and activations, with an emphasis on creating memorable, on-brand customer experiences
- Support our Interior Design Program by helping onboard new designers, assisting with account set-up, and other ad hoc tasks
- Assist with launches in-store, including visual merchandising and window displays
- Contribute to strategic projects such as the continued development of our Towel Recycling Program
- Learn and execute our in-store embroidery process to support product personalization
- Serve as a customer-facing representative of the Weezie brand, ensuring a warm, friendly, and helpful environment at all times
Who You Are:
- You must be a rising college junior or senior, or recent graduate
- You are creative and confident on social media, with a strong eye for visual storytelling and branding
- You take initiative and “own” any job given to you from start to finish
- You are detail-oriented and organized
- You are a proactive taskmaster and have the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
- You are a team player and not afraid of a challenge
- You are self-motivated and a strategic problem solver
- You are comfortable working in a customer-facing role
Internship Details:
- Schedule: This is a 9-10 week internship starting on June 3 running through July 31 or August 7th. You will work 30 hours per week at our Flagship Store (Tuesday – Friday, 9:30am-5:30pm)
- Compensation: The Retail Intern will receive $450 per week, paid bi-weekly.
